North East

The north-east part of India carries 8 states which are- Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur, Sikkim and Tripura. In all these states, the largest city is Guwahati in Assam where the river Brahmaputra flows to the north. This part of country is having very different and uniques culture as compared to other parts of country which makes it special part of country also. Except its culture, the demography is also very unique as the one horned rhinoceros is found only in the Kaziranga National Park of Assam. The Brahmaputra River which is India's biggest river flows in the north-east part of India and merged into the Bay of Bengal. Meghalaya as the name suggest the house of Cloud has the highest rainfall record in India. Assam tea leaves are supplied across the world and its garden are very famous tourist attractions in the state.
